Over the weekend, I attended the Natural Hair Meet and Geet by Tolu Dan-Musa. It was sponsored by Naija Naturals, Erith Apartments and L'oreal West Africa under their Dark and Lovely Nigeria brand.
I cannot begin to tell you all the fun we had at the event and the many lessons the ladies went away with not to mention the goody bags courtesy Dark and Lovely even as our host added some more products to the bag. Let the pictures show!

Generally, I am not a make-up person as I barely get my face done except I am attending an event. Even at that, I make sure the make-up is lightly done so that I am not searching for my face or maybe I am not just daring enough to go on an adventure with make-up. However, I do admire a good make-up that is skillfully done and someday, I wish to have a photo shoot done with lots of colors on my face.

Over the weekend, Genevieve magazine and House of Tara unveiled the Genevieve Pink Ball Lipstain by Tara to the Nigerian market through a launch party organised at the House of Tara outlet in Centro Mall, Lekki. The dress code for the event says, ' Chic'. It took me a while to come up with an outfit for this event and even had to consult some colleagues and even Google since I do not have a stylist and I hate to go for an event over dressed or, under dressed. Whether I pulled it off or not, what matters really is that I had fun and so did other guests. So much catching up to do, so much smiles and laughter and yeah, so much drinks courtesy Moet and Chandon.

Well, it is summer and I guess everyone wants to show a bit of skin even though in this part of the world, I can't really say we are experiencing summer but for my friends and readers out there who are, you may like this. I love the yellow touch to the outfit owing to my recent love for popping colors. Those shoes beckon on me each time I open the picture. They look so comfortable yet the heels are quite high.
