Top Companies to Work in Nigeria

In 2013, jobberman conducted a survey with more than 10,000 employees in Nigeria, to ascertain the best companies to work in Nigeria. These companies include 50 multinationals, 45 Nigerian companies and 12 government agencies


According to the Jobberman blog, 'the index was calculated by getting a weighted average of each recipient's top 5 companies and dream company to work for'. The recipients made their decision based on 'company culture, salary, non-salary benefits, proximity to company location, prestige/company brand, maanagement integrity and commitment to staff welfare'.

The top 10 companies are:
1. Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC)
2. Chevron
3. Mobil
4. NNPC
5. MTN Nigeria
6. Nestle Nigeria
7. Federal Government Civil Service
8. Total
9. Dangote
10. Nigerian Breweries

The top 5 industries by the number of companies that appeared are:
1.  Oil and Gas (19)
2. FMCG (18)
3. Banking (11)
4. Government (9)
5. Technology (6)
